About Us

Amy Borst
Dental Hygiene Practitioner, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, Owner
As a child, Amy Borst grew up with Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMD’s). From a very early age, she had open mouth rest posture, a tongue thrust, and an anterior open bite. She suffered from poor concentration and difficulty breathing through her nose. After high school, still not knowing about OMD’s, she followed her dreams to becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist and later a Dental Hygiene Practitioner.
Post dental hygiene school she reconnected with her childhood dentist who enlightened her to learn about OMD’s, something he had learned more about since her childhood years. She pursued further training with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in 2016 and opened Pearl OMT & Dental Hygiene in 2018. It is now her passion to help as many people as she can while educating the public and professionals about the benefits of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.

Bronwynne Sové
RDH, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist
Bronwynne grew up knowing she wanted to have a career helping others. Dental hygiene became her passion. In hygiene school she learned about Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) through an instructor, and she was intrigued from then on. In October 2016, she took her first program with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and has been attending lectures and studying all things sleep, airway and OMT ever since.
Bronwynne enjoys educating the public, clients, and other professionals about the benefits of therapy, and spends time collaborating with medical professionals to help provide the best care to clients. She moved up to Whistler, B.C. for one year to work under an airway-focused dentist, and has since returned to the lower mainland to provide OMT. She looks forward to seeing you at our Langley office and helping you and your family obtain optimal health through good oral posture and function.
